The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has cautioned the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, against engaging in a political confrontation.
The cleric urged the two politicians to exercise maturity and avoid allowing individuals allegedly interested in creating disagreements between them to succeed.
Ayodele gave the warning in a video posted on his official Facebook page on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, where he appealed to both men to maintain peace and handle their relationship carefully.
Addressing the politicians, the prophet repeatedly warned them against fighting, suggesting that some individuals were interested in creating tension between them.
“Wike, Gbaja do not fight oh, Wike, Gbaja do not fight oh, Wike, Gbaja please use maturity, they want to bring fight,” Ayodele said.
Ayodele Urges Wike, Gbajabiamila to Avoid Provocation
The cleric’s message centred on the need for restraint, particularly because of the influential positions both politicians occupy within the country’s political establishment.
He suggested that Wike and Gbajabiamila should be careful not to allow themselves to be drawn into disagreements that could escalate into a political dispute.
Ayodele also emphasised the importance of maturity in managing political relationships, especially where individuals may allegedly benefit from disagreements between influential figures.
However, he did not identify the people he believed were attempting to create tension between the two politicians.
The cleric also provided no specific details about any alleged disagreement or what might have triggered the situation.
Why Wike and Gbajabiamila Are Politically Influential
Wike, a former governor of Rivers State, currently serves as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory under President Tinubu.
He remains an influential figure in national politics, particularly following his involvement in political developments surrounding the 2023 presidential election.
Gbajabiamila, a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, serves as Tinubu’s Chief of Staff and occupies a key position in the presidential administration.
Ayodele’s message was therefore a direct appeal to both men to prioritise peaceful engagement and avoid being provoked into confrontation.
Warning Comes Ahead of 2027 Elections
The cleric’s warning comes amid political activities and realignments ahead of the 2027 general election, as influential figures continue to navigate relationships within the ruling party and the wider political landscape.
Although Ayodele did not disclose details of a possible dispute between Wike and Gbajabiamila, he urged both politicians to exercise caution and maintain peace.
